This we have now by Rumi

I have been reading a lot of Rumi's poetry lately and have been struck by the simplicity with which he has put forth the most profound thought. The poem below is an an example of one such thought.......

This we have now
is not imagination.
This is not
grief or joy.
Not a judging state,
or an elation,
or sadness.
Those come and go.
This is the presence
that doesn't.
